"Filmfestival Teheran weigert documentaire over Ziv Koren"
The proposal of a Zionist producer of a foreign documentary dubbed `More Than 1,000 Words' to screen his documentary in this year's International Fajr Film Festival here which has been brought up by some US and Western media has been denied by the Public Relations Department of the festival.
The head of the International Fajr Film Festival's Public Relations Department, Habib Ilbeigi, told IRNA that the film, which is about Palestine, was rejected after it was reviewed.
"The application form filled up by the producer and the director of this documentary does not automatically grant participation in the festival," he added.
Solo Avital's documentary dubbed `More Than 1,000 Words' is about the Zionist photojournalist Ziv Koren and the five-year conflict between the Zionist regime and the Palestinians.
In a recent interview with a few American media people, Koren said that the producer of this documentary is from Germany and that it was being distributed by a German company, adding that it was presented to the International Fajr Film Festival by the company.
